Abstract
This article is the result of a systematic review of the investigations on the autonomy of Public
Attorney’s offices, published between 2015 and 2020, and their influence on the impunity of
crimes committed by civil servant. The article will analyze twenty-five investigations on the
topic in order to define concepts and to understand the context of the issue. Additionally, the
article will analyze the search results of the information and related discussions. As a conclusion,
it will be necessary to open the debate about the importance of the constitutional autonomy of
the Administrative System of the Legal Defense of Peru, as a guarantee of the independence
and impartiality of Public Attorney’s offices to control and oversee the observance of the role
and duties of civil servants.
