Saber Servir: Journal of the National School of Public Administration

Focus and scope
Saber Servir, Journal of the National School of Public Administration of Peru, has as its central axis a case of Peruvian public management for academic use and continuous updating of public managers. It includes original articles, thesis articles, interviews and bibliographic reviews on public management with special emphasis on the civil service. It is aimed at civil servants, researchers in public management and university professors. It is published twice a year (July and December).

Peer review process
All articles submitted for publication in Saber Servir go through an evaluation of formal requirements by the editorial committee that will determine if they comply with the guidelines for authors. Articles that pass the first stage will be submitted to an anonymous evaluation under the peer review system. Each manuscript will be evaluated by at least two specialists in the field, guaranteeing academic rigor and editorial quality. In the event of a significant discrepancy between the opinions, a third evaluator will be called upon to determine the feasibility of their publication.

Code of Ethics
The journal takes as a reference the principles of transparency and good practices established by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics), particularly in relation to conflicts of interest, originality and peer review systems.

Open Access Policy

  • This journal provides immediate open access to its content, based on the principle that offering the public free access to research helps to increase global knowledge exchange.
  • The journal Saber Servir publishes original and unpublished articles in the open access modality, available for free consultation from the first issue of the journal.
  • Saber Servir journal does not charge any type of fee for submission or processing of articles.
    In case the author/co-authors wish to republish the accepted article, they must indicate the date on which it was originally published in the journal Saber Servir, as well as notify the journal's email about this reedition.
  • Saber Servir journal meets the DOAJ definition of access.
