Digital Preservation Policy

Saber Servir, published by the National School of Public Administration of Peru, ensures the long-term preservation of its content through institutional and technological strategies.

The journal is currently archived in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) as part of its digital preservation policy.

All published articles and files are periodically backed up and stored on physical servers and in the cloud, in accordance with the data security and backup policies of the National Civil Service Authority – SERVIR.

The Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform used for content management also enables integration with international digital preservation networks, such as:

  • LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)

  • CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS)

  • PKP Preservation Network (PN)

These services guarantee permanent access to the journal’s content, even in the event that the website becomes unavailable, thus contributing to the long-term sustainability of academic knowledge.
