Evaluación de artículos

Original articles submitted will be evaluated through an editorial process consisting of the following stages:

Internal review of the submitted article to determine compliance with the formal requirements and bibliographic references. If the article does not meet the formal presentation requirements, it will be returned to its author.
Originality review using anti-plagiarism software. If necessary, it will be returned to the author for the relevant corrections.
Double-blind peer review evaluation, only for original and unpublished articles, and evaluation by the editorial committee for thesis articles and reviews.

Peer review process
All articles submitted for publication in Saber Servir undergo a formal requirements evaluation by the editorial committee, which will determine whether they comply with the guidelines for authors. Articles that pass the first stage will be subject to anonymous evaluation under the peer review system. Each manuscript will be evaluated by at least two specialists in the field, ensuring academic rigor and editorial quality. In the event of significant discrepancy between the opinions, a third evaluator will be called upon to determine the viability of its publication.

Evaluation results

The Editorial Board will notify the authors of the result of the evaluation process, providing the reviewers' comments and observations in case adjustments or modifications are required.

Depending on the case, the editorial decision may be one of the following:

Accepted for publication: The article is approved in its current version and is scheduled for publication without the need for additional adjustments.

Accepted with minor modifications: Up to 10 days are granted to incorporate adjustments related to style, clarity or references.

Major modifications: Up to 15 days are granted to reformulate key sections, deepen analysis or improve the argument.

In both cases, the authors must send the new version to the email revistaenap@servir.gob.pe, indicating the changes made.

Rejected: The article has not been approved for publication in its current version, either because it does not comply with the editorial criteria, because of weaknesses in its foundation or because it is outside the thematic scope of the journal.

In addition, in exceptional cases, the editorial committee may recommend that the authors reformulate the manuscript and send it in a new call, if it is considered that with substantial changes it could be adjusted to the standards of the journal.
